GHG Reporting Rule Update, Again!

On March 8, 2013, the USEPA announced that they are, yet again, proposing amendments to the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Reporting Rule (40 CFR 98).  The proposed changes include technical corrections, amendments related to Global Warming Potentials and Confidentiality Determinations for new and revised data elements.  According to the USEPA, the proposed changes will improve the reporting program by clarifying compliance obligations and will reduce confusion for reporters, improve consistency of data and ensure that data collected is representative of industry and comparable to the annual US GHG Inventory.  Please contact RTP for help determining the impact of these changes to your facility's past and future reporting requirements.
